Pupil 1: Hello everybody! Glad to meet you!
Pupil 2: Dear pupils, teachers and guests! Today you have been invited into “THE WORLD OF TALES”
Pupil1: There is “the Week of English” in our school. The fifth formers, as you know, like to read tales not only in Ukrainian but in English too.
Pupil 2:It seems to me you know many tales.
Pupil 1: Tell me please, do you know “Cinderella”, “Beauty and Beast”, “Twelve months”,  “Peter Pan”, “Sleeping Beauty”, “The Little Mermaid”, “Winnie the Pooh”, “The Crow and the Fox” and many others.
Pupil 2: That’s why today we have organized a competition between our fifth formers.
Pupil 1:  Dear fifth formers! You had a task to represent a tale from each class.
Pupil 2: The task of the participant is to tell the tale in English.
Pupil 1: Dear pupils! In front of the stage we can see jury which consists of four members. They will give you marks. The highest mark will be “five”.
Pupil 2: They are: ____________________________-the head of the jury and other members are:_________________________________________________________

Pupil 1: And now all the participants of the competition are being invited on the stage (one member from each class).
Pupil 2: Let’s meet our participants with the storm of applause.
Pupil 1: Hello! Glad to see you!
Pupil 2: Dear participants! Now your task is to come up and draw your number.
Pupil 1: While drawing the number you have to introduce yourselves (your name, surname and class: A, B, V, H, D)  (учасниквитягає, а ведучий зачіпляє номер на шию),What  number have you drawn? (учень відповідає)
Pupil 2: Go back to your place.
Pupil 1: And now dear participants, you are to take the seats hereand wait for your turn (почекати поки сядуть учасники)
Pupil 2: So, participant number 1. Come up and retell your tale. (розказує), почекати.
Pupil 1: Thank you! Dear jury! Your marks, please!

T. Slide #2. In the words of Karl Popper, "Science is a history of corrected mistakes", and even Albert Einstein remarked of himself "That fellow Einstein . . . every year retracts what he wrote the year before". (more definitions of science, technologies, natural world, science)
T. Slide # 3. A Gentle Genius Albert Einstein said: “Science is a powerful instrument. How it is used depends on man himself, not on the instrument. A knife is useful for the lives of people, but it can be also used to kill.”
